Visiting a new church can be intimidating! We understand the concerns that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at the church office: 352-357-0708.
When Are Services?
Our more traditional service – but with a full liturgy and sermon – is on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. The more contemporary, family service, with lots of “blended” music, is at 10:30 a.m.
What Should I Wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you’re wearing. After all, this is Florida, so golf shirts and slacks are pretty common. Others prefer to still put on their “Sunday best,” and that’s fine, too! We think you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.
How Do I Get To Epiphany?
Just click on “Contact and Directions” on this website and you’ll get an address and map.
Where Should I Park?
There’s plenty of parking behind the church and you can always park on the street if you’d like. There is no reserved parking for anyone, except for the handicapped. Those several spots are closest to the church entrance in the back.
Where Do My Children Go?
During the 10:30 service, our Children’s Ministries building is the perfect place for your children, infant through fifth grade, to go while you attend service. Plus, because we celebrate Communion every Sunday, the children are escorted back to the main church halfway through the service so they can be with their families. Children’s Ministries is immediately across the yard from the church building. There’s parking right behind it, but one of our greeters would be glad to walk you over!
Am I Expected To Put Money In The Offering?
If you are visiting with us, we don’t expect you to put money in the offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. If you consider Epiphany your church home, we’d love for you to prayerfully consider supporting what God is doing in and through our church.
What Are Epiphany's Services Like?
We strive to have our attendees “worship in Spirit and Truth.” To achieve this we utilize a mix of music, media and interactive preaching. We strive to provide worship experiences that honor the timeless traditions of Christianity, uphold the authority of God’s Word and yet allow for the presence and leading of the Holy Spirit. So we value participation as people encounter the living God, relevance to every generation, and musical diversity. In short, you should expect worship services that are done with excellence and that express a love for “the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.”
