Epiphany is a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion, the second largest Christian denomination in the world.

Maybe the best way to describe Anglican is to think of it as the “middle way” on several different levels. We’re grounded in both the Old and New Testaments, our worship is patterned after the early church, and we eagerly anticipate what worship will be like at Christ’s glorious return.

Practically, that means our order of worship is firmly embedded in rock-solid tradition that has nourished us for hundreds of years, and yet we enjoy the presence of the Holy Spirit in our worship. In preaching and teaching, we want to know what the Scriptures said to the original audience, as well as how they apply to our everyday lives.

Basically, we hold the center, majoring in the best of both worlds: ancient and future, tradition and relevance, and God’s Word then and now. That’s why we say we’re called to share the truth of God’s Word, ground our faith in what has secured Christians for hundreds of years, and ignite the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives today.
